Ramblings in the Morning

I’ve been terribly busy with office work for the past 2 weeks and still continuing until end of the month. That is why no entry at all as nothing interesting happened around me as though the working dateline is really make me headache. Itula namanye tanggungjawab sebagai seorang pekerja. Kita yang menurut perintah sahaja..Whatever..

So basically yesterday I cooked char kuey teow for dinner. Just a simple menu and also pancake for my kids (should pancake eat for breakfast??..bantai jela..as long as the kids lurve it)

While Hakim and Khaleesya watching cartoons, as usual Cartoon Network or Playhouse Disney are their favourites..i just continue reading my Shopaholic (take time to finish, as I’m busy with housework, kids dan macam2 lagi..So only after settled all works then I manage continue reading) and can’t wait to read the sequel. Wondering what happen to Becky as she should settle her debts and plan to abroad away in a way to run from the bankers. Kelakar betul la. Kadang2 makcik boleh senyum sorang2 bila baca karenah si Becky ni..Rase tak sabar nak habiskan baca tapi apa kan daya….Makcik tak terdayo..

Demam vs Book

Still not recovered, walaupun daripada last week demam and my last weekend was quite bored. Yela..dahla demam the whole weekend pastu kena lak g KPJ for blood test. U guys sure can imagine how the situation of every hospital recently dengan ramai orang sakitnya dengan nak menunggunye..punyela lama. Semua tu menambahkkan lagi sakit aku..Tapi fortunate the result is ok. Nothing to worry juz normal fever.

And hari ni i still on medical leave juz relax kat umah. barula aku boleh relax dengan senang hati sebab hero dengan heroin takde pagi2 ayah die dah hantar ke school n rumah babysitter.
Tengah relax2 surf MPH website saje tgk new book release teringat lak Shopaholic collection. alamak tanduk dah naik..Rase cam nak g popular and grab sebijik dua..

so apa lagi dalam sakit2 tu boleh drive sampai IOI..Balas dendam sbb last weekend tak dapat jalan, at last i bought "Confessions of a Shopaholic" and "Shopaholic Abroad".

Puas hati..Pas ni apa lagi ibu boleh membaca dengan senang hati tanpa gangguan..hehehehe

Change of Heart

Just concluded this book and basically the story from Jodi Picoult is about a murderer (Shay Bourne) who has killed a husband and a young daughter. The wife (June) managed to carry on living for the sake of her unborn child. But now she faces losing a second daughter (Claire) which has heart defect and will die soon unless she find a donor.

Unfortunately when match is offered, the new heart come from the man who has killed Claire's sister. Shay Bourne..Its a tough decision that June should made to save Claire life but the end she would do anything and managed to forget what has Shay done to her family in a way to keep her child alive.

P/S: While i'm updating this entry Hakim is watching Ice Age 2 for the...i've no idea for how many time. Since this morning i guess it would be 3-4 times and he can remebered all the dialogs and action. That's my hero and i lurve both of you Hakim n Khaleesya. Ooopss my other half too..May Allah bless us..

Shopaholic Takes Manhattan

Winnkkkk…Just received (panas lagi…) my ordered from MPH..Guess what??..

Taa daaa…Shopaholic Takes Manhattan by Sophie Kinsella. Buku yang ditunggu2. I ordered a few days ago thru internet and received this morning.

Actually I adore reading all collection books from Sophie Kinsella but all this time I got no free time to drop by to any book store. Busy with weekend xtvt especially w my family. End up nye..thru email jela sbb ahkak dah tak sabar nk baca buku from this author.

So this is my first book and hopefully can continue w other book. Balik ni harus aku terus membaca tak sbar sungguh rasenye…

Sail

Wowww...I just concluded this book and what can i say about the writer@ James Patterson..Thriller..Why??
Well basically the book is about the survivor of Dunne family (mom and her 3 kids) who went for sailing holiday and their boat has broken up by a violent storm. And the best part that i really like was how they survive in an island with nobody alive. A rescue team assumed they were lost or dead untill they found a message in the bottle that was wrote by Ernie (Dunne's youngest daughter).
After all the investigation done the police suspected Peter Carlyle (Ernie stepfather) had planned the explosion n the failure of their boat.. (I can't imagine how a father or husband can do such things to his family...cruel...) hoping that he can get all the family's assets when no one of the family can survive..
But what i like most about this book is the cooperation and helping each other between mother and her kids to survive although they had very though time..

P/S: Can't imagine if my kids and i at their place...Subhanallah..
